The 3M™ Scott™ Vision C5 Facepiece is engineered to meet the evolving needs of today's firefighters, offering enhancements in cleanability, comfort, connectivity, and configurability. Designed using a platform approach, it incorporates the latest technology to enhance situational intelligence in a customizable solution.​

• Single Reflex Face Seal: Designed for enhanced comfort and easier donning.

• Removable 5-Point Head Harness: Helps provide a secure fit while minimizing adjustment during donning and is easily removable for cleaning.

• Modular Design: Enables future upgradeability, improves serviceability, and provides a platform for use across multiple respiratory applications.

• Enhanced Communications: Reduced frequency Vibralert helps improve two-way radio communications.

• Expanded Heads-Up Display: New status icons provide visual alerts to the SCBA wearer for electronic personnel accountability report (ePAR), EVAC, and System Integrity Alarm (when using Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA configured with SEMS II Pro Wireless SCBA Telemetry).

• External "Buddy" Lights: Assist with remote identification of a user’s SCBA air remaining.

• Auto Air-Saver: Simplifies operation and helps prevent inadvertent air loss during removal from the facepiece.​

Radio Direct Interface (RDI) Model:

For enhanced communication capabilities, the Vision C5 Facepiece is also available with an integrated Radio Direct Interface (RDI). This model includes:​

• Bone Conduction Headphone: Enhances hearing and understanding of incoming two-way radio communications.

• Software Configurable: Modify settings using iOS or Android™ compatible mobile applications.​

Compatibility:

• Approved with the 3M™ Scott™ Air-Pak™ X3 Pro SCBA, compliant with the NFPA 1981 Standard on Open-Circuit Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus for Emergency Services, 2018 Edition.

• Also approved with select Air-Pak SCBA models compliant with the 2013 and 2007 editions of NFPA 1981.​
