AeroFlex™ Turnout Gear from Fire-Dex represents a major innovation in firefighter PPE—delivering unmatched breathability, flexibility, and protection where it matters most. Designed to actively reduce the risk of heat stress and cardiac events, AeroFlex™ integrates cutting-edge VaporLite™ Panels and AeroVent™ Technology to regulate core body temperature and maintain comfort in extreme conditions.
VaporLite™ Panels are strategically placed in high-heat zones like the armpits, side seams, inner thighs, and behind the knees. These panels are built with a unique three-layer breathable composite and exclusively paired with the TECGEN71® outer shell, CoreCXP™ 1-layer thermal liner, and your choice of CROSSTECH® Black or STEDAIR® 4000 moisture barriers. The result is unmatched evaporative cooling and superior thermal protection.
AeroVent™ Technology uses one-way ventilation to allow sweat vapor to escape while keeping out external moisture, heat, and carcinogens. As activity increases, the vents expand airflow within the gear, delivering consistent cooling without compromising safety.
Mobility features include the OmniDex™ Shoulder design, which reduces coat rise and improves flexibility by aligning with natural body hinge points. Meanwhile, 3D Flex Knees with integrated hinge points allow for a full range of motion and added comfort during movement.
To ensure every firefighter gets the best possible fit, AeroFlex™ offers fully customizable sizing for coat length, sleeve length, inseam, and more—accommodating a wide range of body types and preferences.
