Fire-Dex Proximity Turnout Gear is specifically designed to provide superior protection in high-radiant heat situations, such as aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) operations. Utilizing the advanced Gentex Corporat outer shell, this gear offers exceptional resistance to radiant heat, liquid chemicals, and molten metals, ensuring firefighter safety in the most demanding conditions.​

• Ergonomic Design: Incorporates features from the FXR turnout line, including naturally curved sleeves and pre-bent legs, facilitating unrestricted movement and reducing fatigue during critical operations.​

• Durable Construction: Employs lock-stitch construction on all seams to ensure strong seams that won't unravel if one stitch is broken, enhancing the gear's longevity and reliability.​

• Coat Options: Available in Assault™ style in 28", 32", or 35" lengths, as well as in FX™ style, providing flexibility to meet departmental preferences.​

• Pant Options: Offered in Assault™ style, with or without rear panel, and FX™ style, with or without rear panel, to accommodate various operational needs.

• Material Choices: Outer shell options include 7 oz. aluminized PBI®/Kevlar® and 10 oz. aluminized aramid twill, paired with moisture barriers like CROSSTECH® or STEDAIR® 3000 for optimal protection.​

• Reinforcements: Knees, elbows, shoulders, and cuffs can be reinforced with shell material, leather, or polymer-coated aramid, enhancing durability in high-wear areas.​
