The Kappler FRONTLINE® 500 Vapor Total Encapsulating Suit is engineered to deliver uncompromising protection in environments where chemical, flash-fire, and radiant-heat hazards intersect. Certified to NFPA 1990 (1991) for Chemical Flash-Fire Protection, this suit offers a triple-threat defense—combining chemical resistance, flash-fire protection, and radiant-heat shielding in one integrated system.

Constructed from FRONTLINE® 500 fabric, the ensemble achieved 0 % body burn in Pyroman® Thermal Manikin Testing and a Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) rating of 32, confirming its exceptional survivability in high-heat events.

The Aquaseal® gas-tight zipper simplifies donning, doffing, and pressure testing while ensuring a full vapor seal. A field-replaceable 2N1® Glove System with removable over-gloves prevents inversion and streamlines maintenance, while the AntiFog Expanded-View Visor System provides superior visibility and clarity in demanding environments.

Each FRONTLINE® 500 ensemble includes Kappler’s SMART™ label, making sizing instantly visible and providing QR-code access to real-time chemical data and suit specifications. The suit’s construction allows effective protection in HazMat response, chemical handling, or industrial applications where exposure to vapors or flash-fire risk exists.

The Frontline 500 fabric is PFAS-free, with the exception of the FEP visor lens component.
