The Makita GEC01PL4 is a high-performance cordless power cutter engineered for demanding cutting applications in construction, utility, rescue, municipal, and industrial environments. Designed for cutting metal pipe, rebar, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other tough materials, the GEC01PL4 features a powerful Makita-built brushless motor capable of delivering up to 5,300 RPM for fast, efficient cutting performance. The included pipe cutting guide rail helps provide straighter, more controlled cuts for pipe and metal cutting applications.

Makita’s Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) electronically shuts off the motor if wheel rotation is suddenly forced to stop, helping improve operator safety during demanding applications. The cutter also features an integrated water delivery system with water flow adjustment to help suppress dust during concrete and masonry cutting operations.

For increased durability in harsh jobsite environments, the GEC01PL4 is built with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), engineered to provide improved dust and water resistance. The compact cordless design offers greater portability and maneuverability for users working in confined spaces, elevated work areas, or remote locations where gas equipment may be less practical.
