The Mustang Survival MRV170 Rescue Swimmer Vest is a low-profile, hybrid flotation vest designed for performance-driven public safety water professionals who need reliable flotation without sacrificing mobility in the water. Combining Mustang Survival’s inflatable and foam flotation technologies, the MRV170 turns required flotation into a functional piece of tactical rescue equipment.

The hybrid design provides 9 lbs. of inherent foam buoyancy while maintaining a slim, streamlined profile for swimming and rescue operations. When additional flotation is needed, the wearer can manually activate the CO₂ inflation system to increase total buoyancy to a minimum of 26 lbs.

Designed to remain functional even when fully inflated, the MRV170 allows rescue swimmers to continue swimming and performing in the water without excessive bulk. An easily accessible oral inflation and deflation valve also allows the wearer to fine-tune buoyancy as conditions and operations require.

MOLLE webbing across the front and back gives rescue professionals the flexibility to configure equipment based on their individual needs. The vest is compatible with standard MOLLE attachments as well as Mustang Survival MOLLE pockets, while dedicated MOLLE webbing provides an option for secure knife storage.
