The Pelican 9440 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) is a lightweight, high-output portable scene lighting solution engineered for firefighters, rescue teams, utility crews, industrial personnel, and emergency responders who need rapid-deployment illumination in remote or hazardous environments. Built for mobility and performance, the 9440 delivers powerful area lighting without the noise, fuel, or maintenance requirements associated with traditional generator-powered systems. 

Designed for fast scene setup, the 9440 deploys in seconds and features a telescoping mast that extends up to 7 feet high, helping crews illuminate areas over apparatus, obstacles, and uneven terrain. Its 12-LED lighting array produces up to 5,300 lumens with a wide 120° to 125° beam spread, making it ideal for fireground operations, confined spaces, riverbanks, roadway incidents, utility outages, and search and rescue scenes. 

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery system provides up to 8 hours of runtime depending on selected brightness mode, while Bluetooth connectivity allows users to remotely control brightness levels and power settings directly from a mobile device using the Pelican RALS app. The system also includes battery level indication and multiple preset power modes for improved runtime management during extended operations. 

Built with Pelican’s rugged, maintenance-free construction, the 9440 features durable LED lamp modules, a lightweight portable design, and an included adjustable shoulder strap for easy transport.
