The Pelican 9460 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) is a powerful, self-contained portable lighting solution engineered for firefighters, rescue teams, industrial crews, utility personnel, and emergency response operations that require high-output scene lighting without the noise, fuel, or hazards associated with generators. Designed for rapid deployment and maximum versatility, the 9460 delivers professional-grade illumination in a rugged, transportable Pelican case platform. 

Built with Pelican’s advanced Remote Area Lighting technology, the 9460 features dual telescoping masts that extend nearly 6 feet high along with two 360-degree articulating LED light heads. Together, the next-generation LED system produces up to 12,000 lumens of output, providing broad-area illumination for fireground operations, rescue scenes, utility outages, command posts, training environments, and large-scale incident support. 

The Intelligent Control System allows users to regulate light intensity while actively displaying remaining battery life and estimated runtime. Powered by a rechargeable battery system, the 9460 offers up to 7 hours of runtime at peak brightness with extended runtimes available at lower output settings. For prolonged operations, the unit can also run continuously while connected to wall power. 

Built into a rugged Pelican Protector Case, the 9460 is designed to withstand harsh field conditions while remaining easy to transport thanks to its retractable pull handle and durable polyurethane wheels. The integrated 12V power port and dual USB adapter also allow crews to power additional devices directly from the unit during emergency operations.
