The Pelican 9470 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) is Pelican’s most powerful portable scene lighting solution, engineered for firefighters, rescue teams, industrial crews, utility operations, and large-scale emergency response environments requiring maximum illumination without generators. Designed for rapid deployment and wide-area coverage, the 9470 delivers an impressive combination of output, portability, durability, and operational flexibility. 

Built with Pelican’s advanced Remote Area Lighting technology, the 9470 features four telescoping masts that extend nearly 6 feet high along with four fully articulating 360-degree LED light heads. Together, the system produces up to 24,000 lumens of powerful LED illumination, making it ideal for large fireground operations, rescue scenes, disaster response, utility outages, command posts, hazmat incidents, and industrial job sites. 

The Intelligent Control System allows users to regulate light intensity, monitor remaining battery life, and select desired runtimes or preset power levels directly from the system interface. Powered by a rechargeable battery platform, the 9470 can also run continuously while plugged into wall power for extended operations. Bluetooth remote activation capability further enhances operational control during large-scale deployments. 

Housed inside a rugged Pelican Protector Case, the 9470 is built to withstand harsh field conditions while remaining highly portable thanks to its retractable pull handle and stainless steel ball-bearing polyurethane wheels. An integrated 12V power port with dual USB adapter also allows crews to power additional devices directly from the unit on scene.
