Rice Hydro - FH3 Fire Hose Tester 3 GPM up to 500 PSI

The Rice Hydro FH3 Fire Hose Tester is one of the most popular electric-powered hydrostatic test pumps in the Rice Hydro lineup, designed to safely and efficiently test fire hose in accordance with NFPA 1962 standards. Delivering 3 GPM with testing capabilities up to 500 PSI, the FH3 provides dependable performance for fire departments, municipalities, industrial facilities, and hose service operations looking for a safer and more efficient alternative to tying up apparatus during hose testing. 

Engineered for durability and long-term reliability, the FH3 features a triplex ceramic plunger pump with an internal oil bath for increased stability and extended service life. The heavy-duty manifold includes four independently controlled stainless steel outlet ball valves with NST couplings, allowing operators to safely manage multiple hose lines during testing. A large 2½" swivel inlet helps speed up filling and air elimination for more efficient operation. 

Rice Hydro’s exclusive “NO WILD LINES” safety design helps minimize uncontrolled hose movement by allowing users to fill with large water volume at low pressure and test with low volume at high pressure. The FH3 is enclosed in a rugged welded steel roll cage for maximum protection in demanding station and field environments, while the stainless steel liquid-filled gauge ensures accurate pressure readings with reduced flutter and vibration. 

Powered by a 1 HP TEFC electric motor with 110/220V and 50/60 Hz capability, the FH3 is designed for dependable indoor or outdoor operation and can also be customized with “Built to Suit” configurations to meet specific departmental testing requirements.
